Thomas and Amanda Lewis of Lucama announce the birth of a son, Garrett Edward, on Jan. 30 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Paternal grandparents are Edward and Debbie Lewis of Pikeville and Cheryl and Stephen Capps of Fuquay-Varina. Maternal grandparents are Deborah and Bobby Byrd of Fremont and Larry and Joy Pearce of Goldsboro.
