Timothy Adam and Brandie Barnes Christie of Goldsboro announce the birth of a son, Cooper Adam, Oct. 12. He weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces and was 211/2 inches long. Anna Barnes of Black Creek and John Barnes of Fremont are maternal grandparents. Paternal grandmother is Linda Christie of Manchester, Conn. Anna Rakestraw and the late Erskin Rakestraw of Black Creek are maternal great-grandparents. The great-grandparent is Phyllis Christie.
