Jon and Jennifer Player announce the birth of a son, Winston Stephen, Oct. 19 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. He weighed 8 pounds, 14 ounces. Terry Williams of Grantham and Shirley Williams of Goldsboro are maternal grandparents. Paternal grandparents are Steve and Marion Player of Raleigh. Leerene Lane of Goldsboro is the maternal great-grandmother. Paternal great-grandmother is Lois Williams of Grantham.
