Under and by virtue of an Order of the Wayne County Superior Court of Wayne County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled “Wayne County vs. James Wesley Joyner; Spouse of James Wesley Joyner, if any; Rhonda Exum Elliott a/k/a Arona Exum and Spouse of Rhonda Exum Elliott a/k/a Arona Exum, if any; Tasha Exum and Spouse of Tasha Exum, if any”, the undersigned commissioner will on the 10th day of July, 2009, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction, at the courthouse door in Wayne County, North Carolina, in Goldsboro at 10:00 a.m. the following described real property, lying and being in State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows:
Being located in Wayne County, North Carolina, and more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a stake in the Western property line of Sycamore Street 63.34 feet Northerly of its intersection with the Northern property line of Ward Street, corner between Lots 2 and 3 as shown on map hereinafter referred to; thence along the Western property line of Sycamore Street N. 22° 28' E. 25.59 feet to a stake; thence continuing along the Western property line of Sycamore Street N. 22° 46' E. 37.74 feet to a stake, corner between Lots 1 and 2; thence along the dividing line between Lots 1 and 2 N. 67° 32' W. 150.20 feet to a stake, corner between Lots 1 and 2 in the line of Lot 4; thence along the dividing line between Lots 2 and 4 S. 22° 28' W. 63.33 feet to a stake, corner between Lots 2 and 3 in the line of Lot 4; thence along the dividing line between Lots 2 and 3 S. 67° 32' E. 150 feet to a stake in the Western property line of Sycamore street, the point of beginning, and being Lot 2 as shown on a map of the Hooks Subdivision prepared by Bobby Rex Kornegay, R. S., dated January 10, 1968. Being the same property conveyed to Alean Joyner from J. A. Hooks (unmarried) and Rachel H. Peacock and husband, Ben A. Peacock by deed dated June 10, 1969 and recorded in Book 735 at Page 574 of the Wayne County Registry.
The sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvements assessments against the above-described property not included in the judgment in the above-entitled cause. A deposit of 5 percent (5%) of the successful bid will be required or $750.00, whichever is greater.
