Item 1) A singlewide mobile home with wooden deck located at 353 NC Highway 581 North, Goldsboro, formerly owned by Jean Becton.
There is no minimum bid, but the Department reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Only sealed bids on forms furnished by the Department of Transportation and placed in a sealed envelope with the words “Sealed Bid” and the bid opening date (3PM, Nov. 23rd, 2009) on the front of the envelope will be considered. Sealed bids shall be delivered to the Right of Way office at 2416 Bedgood Drive in Wilson NC 27893, or mailed to Lloyd Johnston, Jr., Division Right of Way Agent at the same address. For sealed bids to be considered, they must arrive at the above address no later than 3PM, Nov. 23rd, 2009.
If necessary, it will be the responsibility of the successful bidder to handle the disposition of asbestos or any other hazardous and/or toxic wastes in accordance with the requirements and regulations of the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Division of Epidemiology, and in compliance with NESHAP 40 CFR, Part 61, Section 61.145.
