Pursuant to General Statutes of North Carolina, Section 143-129, sealed bids are invited and will be received by the City of Goldsboro until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the 6th day of March, 2013, at which time a meeting in the Large Conference Room, City Hall, 200 North Center Street, Goldsboro, NC, the sealed proposals will be publicly opened for the provision of the following:
Stoney Creek Park Shelter and Restroom Construction
Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the City Finance Department, P. O. Drawer A, City of Goldsboro, North Carolina 27533-9701. The outside of the envelope must be marked BID REQUEST # IFB 2013-004, STONEY CREEK PARK SHELTER AND RESTROOM CONSTRUCTION". All proposals must be made on the blank forms provided for that purpose.
Scope of works will be on file in the office of the Finance Department, Goldsboro, North Carolina and on the City of Goldsboro website www.ci.goldsboro.nc.us under the Bid Listings link.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, to add or delete work, to waive informalities, and to award contract which, in the opinion of the City, appears to be in its best interest. The right is reserved to hold any or all proposals for a period of sixty (60) days from the opening thereof.
The City of Goldsboro has an affirmative policy of fostering, promoting and conducting business with women and minority owned enterprises. Women and minority contractors are encouraged to participate in the pre-qualification process.
