More than 100 years ago, Goldsboro Record Printing opened its doors.

And today, after generations of serving Wayne County's printing needs, Eddie and Lisa Brown are maintaining the business's reputation of providing quality service at a fair price.

The business, which has been in the Brown family since it opened, is located at 2801 Royall Ave., Goldsboro. But it did not start off with the same name.

In 1905, Brown's great-grandfather and uncle, Charles and George Brown, started the business as the Goldsboro Weekly Record.

Goldsboro Weekly Record was the oldest and the best weekly newspaper in the county until the late 1950s.

And if you would like to see what it looked like, stop by the office. There's a copy from 1958 hanging on the wall.

But today, Goldsboro Record Printing has moved away from its newspaper roots to become the area's premiere printer for all your business and personal printing needs.

From full-color printing to everything from tickets to letterhead, Eddie and Lisa Brown are dedicated to providing their clients with quality work quickly and affordably.

They will tackle just about anything — envelopes, newsletters, church bulletins, coupons, carbonless forms, labels, booklets, invitations, business cards, copies and rubber stamps, to name a few.

And if you have a special event coming up, Goldsboro Record Printing also is the first stop for your wedding invitations.

Goldsboro Record Printing's customer service is prompt and friendly, provided by a knowledgeable and well-trained staff.

And you don't have to know exactly what you want when you walk through the door, either.

Mrs. Brown said the staff can help come up with creative layouts, logo designs and other graphics that will give your project the punch it needs.

That's the kind of customer service that helps a business last for more than 100 years — and a commitment the Browns plan to continue well into the future.
