Gene D. Thomas, executive director for the Goldsboro Housing Authority, says there's been some confusion about the ownership of public housing in Goldsboro.
The Goldsboro Housing Authority is only responsible for the following developments: Fairview Homes Apartments, Lincoln Homes Apartments, Woodcrest Terrace Apartments, Elmwood Terrace Apartments, West Haven Apartments and Little Washington Apartments.

The Wayne County Chamber of Commerce is holding a lunch and learn seminar on Aug. 10 from noon to 1:15 p.m.
The topic is "Living Joyously" and the speaker will be Reece Gardner, the motivational speaker for the Dale Carnegie Course. The seminar will be about the power of enthusiasm, motivation and memory.
