Faison historic homes tour Saturday

The town of Faison will host a Historic Homes Tour on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. Four homes and the gardens of another will be featured on the tour. Three of the featured homes are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The B.B. Witherington home, Walter Livingston Hicks home, William Thornton Home, Stewart Precythe Home. The gardens of the W.E. Hill Home will be part of the tour as well.
Tour tickets are $15, and can be purchased at Faison Town Hall, RBC Centura, Southern Exposure restaurant and Brewer Hardware. Tickets will be available at the Faison Community Building on the day of the tour. Ticket holders should stop at the community building for maps and information.
Southern Exposure will be open for lunch the day of the tour, and tour ticket stubs can be presented for a 15 percent discount. For more information, call Inga Flake at (910) 267-3901 or Lisa Patterson at (919) 921-0029.
