Police to hold Child Safety Day at Verizon on Thursday

The Goldsboro Police Department and Verizon Wireless will hold a "Child Safety Day" Thursday from 9 a.m. until noon at the new Verizon store at 1202-B North Berkeley Blvd.
Participants will receive free child identification kits that include finger printing and safety information, and parents will receive valuable information on personal safety.
