One day after officials vowed to keep a closer eye on safety in the wake of a mass shooting at Virginia Tech Monday, a Rosewood High School student was found with a knife at school.
Anthony Dashaun Gibson, 17, of Rosewood Road, was charged with one count of weapons on educational property Tuesday after school officials allegedly found him carrying a 3-1/2 inch switchblade.
Gibson was released to the custody of his parents on the stipulation that he follow the rules laid out by court officials.
If Gibson violates the court's rules, he could be placed under a $1,000 secured bond.
