Concert to raise money for EWHS scholarship

A concert to raise money for the "Just Believe" Scholarship Fund will be held Saturday, Oct. 27, at Eastern Wayne High School.
The event will feature a number of acts, including national touring award winner ilyaimy from Maryland, Dragline of Raleigh, Coon Phat Gravy, Zeke Roiland, Scott Chasteen (formerly toured with Molly Hatchett), Eric Boff and DeAnne Carroll Singer.
The scholarship fun is an endowment fund for Eastern Wayne High School students to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
The show will be held from 2-6 p.m. and will feature speakers between acts, talking about avoiding drugs and alcohol dependence.
