Hagler joins Tuscarora staff

Scott Hagler has joined the staff at the Tuscarora Council, Boy Scouts of America, as the organization's field director.

Hagler has been involved with Scouting for more than 32 years, starting as a young boy in Cub Scouts. He has spent the last nine and a half years working as a staff member for the organization and most recently assisted with Scouting programs in the Greensboro area.

"Scott has a great record of developing new and fun programs that make Scouting more enjoyable for youth and their families," said Scout Executive Harold Keller.

Hagler will supervise staff members who support field programs and also coordinate the council's annual popcorn sale, oversees its membership committee and operates the summer Cub Scout resident and day camps.

He earned a bachelor's degree in business and sports administration from Anderson College in Anderson, S.C.
