Student in Senate Youth Program

A Spring Creek High School senior has been selected to participated in the 46th annual U.S. Senate Youth program.
Brian Heim is one of two students from North Carolina and among 104 students nationwide chosen for the prestigious program for young people who have demonstrated interest in public service.
He will receive a $5,000 scholarship and travel to Washington D.C. next month for a week-long government and leadership education program.
In addition to outstanding leadership abilities and a strong commitment to volunteer work, those students selected for the program also rank academically in the top one percent of their respective states.
