Esther's Refuge fundraiser April 27

A fundraising event to benefit the Esther's Refuge transitional home for women will be held April 27 from 5 until 9 p.m. at Elm Grove Church at 1118 Booker St. in Pikeville.
Esther's Refuge is a faith-based non-profit organization that helps women coming out of prison, suffering from domestic violence or alcohol or drug problems.
The program will include several gospel music groups, singing, dancing and mime. Attendance is free, but donations are welcome, whether they be of financial support, household products, office supplies, cleaning supplies, twin-sized bed linens or toiletries for women.
