East Walnut Street resident Antwan Pope, 18, told police he was shot inside of a convenience store in the 500 block of East Elm Street, police said. Pope and a witness reported a black female entered the store with two handguns pointed at Pope. She fired a shot, hitting Pope in the stomach, and he was treated and released from Wayne Memorial Hospital, according to a police report. The female had short hair, a medium build, and all black clothing, according to the report.
