Three people are charged with embezzlement from Premiere Theater on 10th Place that took place over about a year, a Goldsboro investigator said. Police Investigator Bryant Canady reported that Emily Blake Ardis, 19, Nicholas Drive, Shayne Edward Paul, 19, Owens Farm Road and David Earl Beasley, 19, Kiowa Place, Pikeville, were all charged with one felony-level count of embezzlement and released to the custody of parents, Canady said in a release.
Armed robbery arrest
Police allege a Courtyard Circle man is responsible for an August robbery on Meyers Avenue, and investigator said. Isiah Denzel Young, 19, is charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon for the incident in the 300 block of Meyers Avenue reported on Aug. 2 at 12:30 a.m., Dean said. Young was jailed under a $25,000 bond, police said.
Tin can attack
Nedra Barksdale of East Maple Street, Mount Olive, told police that a black man she doesn't know struck her in the right eye with a tin can, causing minor injury, police said. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Devereaux Street, police said.
