Master Sgt. Talisha Virges, left, and Airman 1st Class Carlos Villegas stand guard near the POW/MIA memorial on Seymour Johnson Air Force Base this morning. An all-day vigil is being held today on base to pay tribute to the men and women imprisoned during wartime and those still missing in action.
A formal ceremony is scheduled for 4 p.m. Retired Air Force Col. Frederick Kiley, a Pulitzer Prize finalist for his book "Honor Bound --The Definitive History of American Prisoners of War in Southeast Asia," will be the keynote speaker.
