Ring in a good cause: Salvation Army kettle drive begins

The Salvation Army has kicked off its annual red kettle drive as the Christmas-giving season gets fully underway this weekend after Thanksgiving. Some volunteers, however, are hearing fewer clinks in the bottom of their kettles this year as donations are slow to start.
