The Quality Inn on Corporate Drive was robbed at gunpoint late Monday, Goldsboro police reports show. A 30-year-old female clerk said a black male entered the motel and pushed her while sitting in a chair, then used a handgun to coerce her to open a cash drawer. The suspect, described as between the ages of 27 and 32, with short brown hair, a full beard and mustache, a medium build, and weighing about 160 pounds, left on foot headed west, wearing a purple, white and yellow coat and blue jeans, according to the report. The amount of stolen cash was not disclosed.
