Ricky Oden of West Oak Street reported a black male he does not know pointed a gun at him and demanded his property near a convenience store in the 600 block of West Ash Street, Goldsboro police said. The suspect ran with a bag, which contained two sodas and three packs of cigarettes, police said.
Child's identity stolen
Gerald Buchanan of Timothy Street, Dudley reported that someone had obtained the Social Security numbers of his two children and used them to file income taxes, according to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office report.
City of Goldsboro employee Daniel Lancaster reported Tuesday morning that two fish were missing from a damaged fountain at the city park in the 900 block of Park Avenue, police said. Police documented about $50 in damage to a pipe and two missing gold-colored carp.
