Terrille Pegram of South Kornegay Street reported that he was stabbed from behind with a knife while walking home on the 400 block of East Walnut Street. Pegram suffered a severe cut and was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital, police said.
Two 15-year-olds were responsible for an armed robbery of Larry McEachern of Lincoln Drive late last month, the Goldsboro Police Department alleges. McEachern reported that he was robbed at gunpoint of a laptop and a cell phone. Authorities recovered the laptop at the home of one of the juveniles, according to a news release. The juveniles were being held in secure custody at Pitt Juvenile Detention Center, on charges unrelated to the armed robbery of McEachern, police said.
