Habitat seeking home bids

Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro-Wayne is looking for companies to bid on work for the nonprofit agency's next set of homes.
Expecting to build eight to 10 homes during the 2011-12 fiscal year, Habitat for Humanity of Goldsboro-Wayne is looking for contractors to bid on plumbing, electrical, concrete, engineering, HVAC, flooring, building supplies and other services.
Contractors must be licensed, and work includes all permits, labor, materials, equipment and inspections. Preference will be given to contractors with worker's compensation insurance.
If your intent is donate time, labor or materials, that should be indicated as part of the bid.
Electronic bid packets are available at www.habitatgoldsboro.org.
Bids may be submitted until 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 15 at the Habitat office at 131 E. Walnut St.
