Grantham School held an African-American Heritage Celebration on Friday afternoon as part of its month-long observation of Black History Month. Above, Ivy Kelley, Latricia Johnson and Samantha Robinson sing "Lean on Me" during the program, which was titled "All Things are Possible." It featured a podcast of student reports on African-American heroes and inventors, students performing an African cultural dance that influenced some of the modern-day dances, as well as a skit based on the movie "Ruby Bridges." During February, students at every school in Wayne County observed the month with programs designed to highlight the contributions of black Americans.
