Air show flights canceled for Saturday, will continue Sunday

The threat of severe weather has forced officials at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base to cancel all flights the Wings Over Wayne Air Show today. However, Aaron Tippen will still perform at 1:30 p.m. and all ground exhibits are still open.
On Sunday, with clear and sunny weather forecast, all acts will go ahead as scheduled.
The gates will open to the public at 8 a.m. Aerial performance will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the Army Golden Knights, the Star-Spangled Banner, 4-Ship Fly-by, Matt Chapman, Sky Soldiers, Combined Arms Demo, Rob Holland Ultimate Air Shows, MIG-17 Demo, A-10 Demo / F-15E Demo, Matt Younkin Air Shows, Tora! Tora! Tora!, Rob Holland Ultimate Air Shows, F-4 Demo, F-15E Strike Eagle Demo Team, Heritage Flight, Horsemen P-51 Mustang Demo. The Air Force Thunderbirds will perform at 3 p.m. Tracy Lawrence will perform at 5 p.m. Gates will close at 6:30 p.m.
