A pair of baby red foxes poke their heads up from their den at the edge of a wooded section of the Mar-Mac community on Thursday afternoon. The mother fox was sitting nearby, keeping a sharp eye on them. Young foxes are born in late February or March and first begin leaving the den to explore their surroundings at about 10 weeks of age, according to wildlife experts.
