Children ages 6 to 17 interested in participating in a community choir are invited to audition Friday from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church on Harris Street.
The choir, first organized in 2010, is sponsored by the Goldsboro chapter of Continental Societies.
Children should be accompanied by an adult and should be prepared to sing a one-minute selection of their choice. Participants will be selected by a panel of judges where singing talent, enthusiasm and ability to perform will make up the criteria for selection.
The choir is a service-oriented choir which performs at events across the county, singing at non-profit functions, entertaining patients at hospitals and at churches as well as many other venues.
For more information, contact the choir director, Victoria Ruffin, at 344-8345, Anetta Reid at 738-3801 or Patricia Stokes at 736-0683.
