DUDLEY -- A Dudley man was shot in the chest during a home invasion Wednesday night.
Quentin Dobson, 36, was taken to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, where he is listed in fair condition.
A robber wearing a mask and carrying a gun entered the home of Dobson and Joseph Lanier at 112 Van Dyke Drive after 9 p.m.
The suspect struck Lanier on the head and shot Dobson.
Dobson told police he was robbed of $200 in cash and a cell phone, wallet, bank card and driver's license before the suspect fled.
Wayne County Sheriff's Office Maj. Tom Effler said investigators believe the suspects knew at least one of the victims.
