Kinetic Minds of Goldsboro is holding a green energy summer camp at Wayne Community College. One of their projects this week was to launch water rockets, explained founder Eskabonna Henderson. The rockets were part of a renewable energy lesson that the group is focusing on during a week of examining green energy alternatives. The class used soda bottles because the plastic is strong enough to withstand the pressure required to launch them. The water rockets had a potential of soaring to 200 feet in the air.
