Bethel Church sponsoring run to help orphanage in Haiti

Bethel Church of 2308 N. William St. funds, runs, and operates an orphanage in Haiti that clothes, feeds, and houses 35 orphans. This orphanage relies 100 percent on Bethel Church for their funds.
The earthquake in 2010 demolished the orphanage and the kids have been living in plywood make shift housing. Bethel Church is in the process of building permanent top of line orphanage.
The church will be hold a 5K road race on Oct. 5 at 8 a.m., starting at Bethel Church. The race is USATF certified and scoring by ECRR.
All proceeds from race will go towards the Orphanage in Haiti.
The church sent a team of 18 young adults and teens go to Haiti last month to work with the youth there.
