The U.S. Postal Service has announced that it will extend retail hours in a number of select postal offices across the state during the last two weekends before the Christmas holidays.
The Berkeley Station at 100 Cashwell Drive is one of the "premier" locations chosen to extend its hours, postal officials said in a news release.
The offices included will open their doors on Saturday, Dec. 14 and Saturday, Dec. 21, using the same retail hours that they are open during the week.
The extended hours are designed to help alleviate the holiday rush and provide additional mailing and shipping convenience to customers during what is projected to be a busy shopping season.
