PRINCETON -- Donald Michael Darden, 73, of 5571 Bizzell Grove Church Road, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home. The committal service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Fellowship United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Darden is survived by his wife, Annie Mae Willoughby Darden of Princeton; three sons, Donnie Darden and John Darden of Las Vegas, Nev., and Jason Darden of Kenly; a daughter, Frankie Tart of Clinton; two stepsons, Steve Worley of Raleigh and Alan Worley of Kenly; a stepdaughter, Tammy Worley of Pikeville; a sister, Gladys Whitley of Durham; a nephew, Ricky Whitley of Durham; and nine grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Casey Funeral Home one hour prior to and immediately following the service on Tuesday evening.
