EDWARD YOUNG

RALEIGH -- Retired U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Moses Edward Young, father of Sharon Lofton Cox of Dudley, died Sunday at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

The funeral will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at Haywood Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Carolina Biblical Gardens in Garner.

Mr. Young is also survived by another daughter, Andrea Tucker of Trenton, N.J.; a son, Darryl Young; two brothers, Harry Young of Newark, N.J., and Bobby Young of Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Gloria Young of Hillside, N.J., and Virginia Eberhardt of Raleigh; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one half hour prior to the service on Friday.
