Wyatt Freeman Clark, 78, of 101 Valerie St., died today at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Sauls and the Rev. Craven Chavis officiating. Burial will be in Pikeville Cemetery.
Mr. Clark was a retired truck driver and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He attended Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Lou Ann Ginn Clark; daughters, Doris Ann Wooten, Janice Wooten, and Peggy Mickles, all of Richmond, Va.; sons, Wyatt Clark Jr., Thomas Wayne Clark, and David Clark, also of Richmond, Va.; brother, Charles Clark of Memphis, Tenn.; stepsons, Rick and Eric Hinson of Nashville, Tenn.; and 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday night from 7 until 9 at Seymour Funeral Home.
