D. ALTON CRAWFORD
PIKEVILLE -- David Alton Crawford, 86, of Hinnant Road, died peacefully Tuesday, June 29, 2004, at his home.
A native of Wayne County, he was the son of the late David and Callie Worrell Crawford. "Mr. Alton," as everyone knew him, was a long-time farmer in the Pleasant Grove Community. A gathering to celebrate his life will be held Thursday, July 1, 2004, at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Free Will Baptist Church, with Rev. Jerry Stephenson and Rev. Alvin Keener officiating. Burial will follow at the Pikeville Cemetery.
