ANNIE MAE HOLMES

WILSON -- Annie Mae Holmes, 81, of 403 Crestview Ave., died Monday at Wilson Medical Center.

She was a member of Mt. Zion Free Will Baptist Church in Wilson, and the funeral will be held there on Saturday at 1 p.m. The Rev. Elbert Forbes will conduct the service. Burial will be in Hamilton Burial Gardens.

She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Dublin of Wilson and Joann Holmes of Goldsboro; two sons, Joe L. Holmes Jr. of Las Vegas and Lenwood Holmes of Virginia; and nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 509 New Bern Street in Wilson.

Arrangements by Hamilton Funeral Chapel, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson.
