Sandra Oates Barwick, 52, of 2656 Reeds Ford Road, Clinton, died Saturday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive.

She is survived by her husband, Glenn Barwick; a son, Clay Jenkins of Princeton; two daughters, Lisa Peveler of Owensboro, Ky., and Toni Bullock of Durham; a stepson, Allen Barwick of Seven Springs; a stepdaughter, Keesha Kast of Goldsboro; two brothers, Ronnie Oates of Warsaw and Donald Oates of Mount Olive; and six grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late Thomas Gordon Oates and Verlon Barwick Oates.

Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday night from 7 until 9 at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.
