She is also survived by her cousins, Philip Bunn, Sarah Payne, Mandy, Geoff, Kyle, Kelsey and Travis Hackett; her godmother, Seanna Whitfield; and a host of other relatives, teachers, dance teachers, dancers and friends.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Gene Hackett, and her aunt, Erin Lupton.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, please fill the church with stuffed animals that will be donated to hospitalized children at the Children's Hospital in Chapel Hill so they will have a friend to be with them. Contributions may also be made to the School of Goldsboro Ballet, 782 S NC 111 Hwy, Goldsboro, NC 27534. Please also consider becoming an organ donor.

The family will receive friends following the funeral service at the church and other times at the residence, 403 Renee Drive, Goldsboro, N.C.
