ROLAND G. EDWARDS

BEULAVILLE -- The funeral for Roland G. Edwards, 70, will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Community Funeral Home of Beulaville. Burial will be on Saturday morning at 11 at the Lanier-Thigpen Cemetery.

Mr. Edwards died Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.

He is survived by his wife, Minnie S. Edwards of Kinston; two daughters, Wendy Winchester of Kinston and Lana Wooten of Hope Mills; one son, Garris Edwards of Farmville; and two sisters, Catherine Quinn of Beulaville and Shirley Hardison of Goldsboro.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight following the service.
