NEWTON GROVE -- Marjorie McCullen Joyner, 83, of 4866 Mount Olive Highway, died Wednesday.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of West & Dunn Funeral Home. Dr. Lilly Chou and the Rev. Neal Wingfield will officiate. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
Mrs. Joyner is survived by her husband, Eli Joyner; four grandsons, Timothy D. Barefoot of Snow Hill, Robert E. Joyner of Benson, Blakee A. Green of Dunn and Courtney L. Joyner of Mount Olive; one granddaughter, Nicole J. Swanson of Ft. Knox, Ky.; one brother, John McCullen of Grantham; two sisters, Marie M. Jernigan of Newton Grove and Edna Hargrove of Clinton; and eight great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at West & Dunn Funeral Home today from 6 until 8 p.m., and other times at the home of Robert Joyner, 657 Godwin Lake Road, Benson.
