Margaret Williams Kennedy, 83, died Thursday in Duplin General Hospital in Kenansville.

A funeral service was held 4 p.m. Saturday at the Community Funeral Home Chapel in Beulaville. Burial followed in the East Duplin Memorial Gardens, Beulaville.

She is survived by one daughter, Cynthia Kennedy Odom of Rose Hill; and two grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Duplin General Hospital, Skilled Nursing Unit, Kenansville, N.C., 28349.
