David Dee Lawhon, 71, of 6935 Knollwood Drive, Morrow, Ga., died Friday.
He was a native of Johnston County and was the son of the late Dossie Vaden and Viola Hayes Lawhon.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy McCullen Lawhon of Morrow, Ga.; one son, David Vaden Lawhon of Avondale Estates, Ga.; two daughters, Angela Browning of Cleveland, Tenn., and Dawn Lawhon of San Francisco, Calf.; two brothers, Edward Lawhon of Hampton, Va., and Elmer Adams of Princeton; two sisters, Velma Lawhon Toler of Princeton and Thelma Johnson of Smithfield; three grandchildren, Brandon Foster, Megan Foster and David Browning Jr.; and one great-grandchild, Erin Foster.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home in Princeton. The Rev. Dennis Pollock will officiate. A private committal service will be held on Tuesday.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to and immediately following the service tonight.
