BOBBY JORDAN

ALBERTSON -- Bobby Jordan, 67, of 1856 Red Hill Road in the Pleasant Grove community, died Thursday afternoon at his home.

The funeral will be held at 7 p.m. on Saturday in the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Fussell officiating The committal service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Bradshaw Cemetery at Newton Grove.

Mr. Jordan had served in the U. S. Army and was a retired maintenance technician with Boling Company.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Taylor Jordan of the home; a son, Bobby Jordan Jr., and his wife, Diana, of Albertson; one daughter, Lecinda J. Waters, and her husband, Buddy, of Mount Olive; one brother, Donald Jordan and his wife, Betty, of Dudley; one sister, Ernestine Jordan of Troutman; and five grandchildren, Josh Waters, Luke Waters, Davis Jordan, Rachel Jordan, and Matthew Jordan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Allen Jordan and Lois Ward Jordan; a brother, Jimmie Jordan; and a sister, Eva J. "Spoogey" Oliver.

The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home following the service on Saturday night, and other times at the residence.
