MOUNT OLIVE -- Frank Ashford, 86, of 708 Oliver St., died Monday at SunBridge Nursing Center.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at St. Mark Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Terry Armstrong will officiate.

Mr. Ashford was the son of the late Needham and Minnie Ashford. He retired as a painter with Wayne County Public Schools.

He is survived by his wife, Amelia Ashford of the home.

Garris Funeral Home is serving the family.
