MOUNT OLIVE --Doris Mae Faulkner Carter, 74, died Friday.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Howard-Carter Funeral Home in Kinston. Bishop Richard Brown will conduct the service.

Mrs. Carter is survived by one daughter, Connie Sue Carter of Mount Olive; two sons, James C. Edwards of New York and Randy C. Carter of Mount Olive; four sisters, Louise Harris of Kinston, Grace Dalmer of Slidell, La., and Carolyn Walbzierser and Betty Joyce Husfham of Delco; and one granddaughter and one great-grandson.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
