Betty Lou Jackson Evans, 62, of 116 Sir Richards Drive, Pikeville, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday morning at 11 at Wayne Memorial Park, with the Rev. Bill Cotton officiating.
Mrs. Evans was born in Wayne County to the late Gilbert Thurman Jackson and Elizabeth Pittman Jackson. She was the widow of James Evans.
Her survivors include a daughter, Tracey Bucio of Saulston; a son, Jamey Evans of Saulston; three sisters, Edna Goff of Pikeville, Mary Gardner and her husband, George, of Patetown and Linda Marlowe and her husband, Bengie, of Fremont; and five grandchildren, Trey Hill, Alex Ortiz, Beth and Cheyenne Bucio, and Matthew Evans.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Hargis.
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 8 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the residence of Edna Goff, 105 Britt St., Pikeville.
