MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Robena Shambley Stevens, 73, of 200-A North Point Drive, will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Clinton. The Rev. Calvin Oates will officiate. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Clinton.

Mrs. Stevens died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

She was the daughter of the late Wallace and Beadie Lane Shambley.

She is survived by one son, Glenwell Stevens of Faison; three daughters, Patricia Stevens and Melba Ingram of Mount Olive and Angelia Stevens of Hiram, Ga.; three sisters, Edna Shine and Melinda Jacobs of Mount Olive and Shirley Shambley of Newark, N.J.; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

The viewing hours will be from 4 until 7 today at Faith Hope Charity Free Will Baptist Church, 148 E. Main St., Mount Olive, and on Thursday at Union Grove Free Will Baptist Church during the hour prior to the funeral.

The family will receive friends at the home of Patricia Stevens, 200 McCullen Street, Mount Olive.
