Calvin Kornegay, 74, 124 Nelson St., Mount Olive, died on Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mark Freewill Baptist Church in Mount Olive, with the Elder Levion Troublefield officiating. Burial to follow in Carver Cemetery.

He was a former employee of Duplin Face Veneer Co. and Harrell's Moving Co. in Mount Olive.

He is survived by one son, William Henry Kornegay; two sisters, Catherine K. Canady and Lillian Oliver of Mount Olive; one brother, Joseph Kornegay; four aunts; one grandson; and other relatives and friends.

A viewing will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the chapel. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. and at other times at the home of his twin sister, Catherine Canady, 114 Hillsboro St., Mount Olive.

Services entrusted to McIntyre Funeral home Ministries in Mount Olive.
