PRINCETON -- Gary C. Faircloth, 56, died Saturday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007 at noon at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Fayetteville. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.

Gary was a school teacher, a hair dresser and friend to all. He loved people and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his sister, Susanne Faircloth of Fayette-ville; his friend through love, Freddie W. Swafford Jr. of Princeton; several aunts, cousins and numerous good friends.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Jernigan Warren Funeral Home in Fayetteville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenville Humane Society or to one's favorite charity.
