LAURINBURG -- John W. McRae, 59, died Thursday. He was the son of the late Hubbard and Rosa Mae McRae.

He leaves to cherish one son, William Sanders of Goldsboro.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Greater Fair Plain A.M.E. Zion Church. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at McPhatter Funeral Home in Laurel Hill, N.C.
